Joan Britton

Joan Britton dreamed of becoming an artist when she was a young girl.  She is an emerging artist who has been painting since 2016.  She met Priscilla Phifer who invited her to the Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club (DFABC). Joan's eyes were opened to a world of awesome artists, writers and collectors.  She immediately joined DFABC and credits that exposure for her confidence to pursue her dream of becoming an artist.

Michael Horner, renowned landscape/abstract artist agreed to give Joan private art lessons.  She now felt her dream could become a reality. Joan is an avid collector as well as a member of the following organizations:

·      Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club

·      Detroit Society of Painters and Sculptures

·      Friends of Detroit Institute of Arts

·      National Conference of Artist of Michigan
