I sculpt because I must! It is rooted deep within me. I believe sculpting comes from that place in the universal soul that wants to be born. The sculptor, painter, poet, dancer, musician and all who create, bring forth from deep within themselves and express what wants to be born.

The images I create in clay come from a wellspring of love, deep within my heart and soul, a source that wants to be expressed and manifested. Some pieces come from moments of supplication and some from epiphanies.

My pieces depict my life journey, my healings and transformations, my triumph of being born and reborn, my growing wings of passion to be alive. My inspirations come from all those processes in life. They come from poetry or other artistic expressions, from nature and my traveling, learning the differences in cultures, and from integrating and respecting our differences.

I am a teacher at heart. I strive to see my students connect to their true self, which is where art and the creative muse reside. My passion is to provide a pleasant and trustworthy space in my classes for people to feel comfortable to open to the creative process. Being an artist gives people the possibility of feeling free to express their deepest longing and manifest their soul expression. I support this process in classes by providing an environment where people can experience healing and empowerment and freedom.
