Emotions Unbound

This exhibit, in partnership with the Scarab Club, is open to DSWPS members as well as to all women artists and artists presenting as women.

The idea behind the theme, Emotions Unbound, is to break down societal boundaries and stigmas associated with emotional expression, to encourage a deeper understanding of how emotions connect us across differences and define our individual and collective experiences. Applicants are invited to reflect on the universal yet deeply personal nature of emotions and explore how our various backgrounds influence the way we process feelings like joy, sorrow, anger, love, and fear.
