President’s December 2023 Letter

December is a rough time for artists. Many demands have a way of intruding into our artmaking opportunities during the holidays. All that busyness is the reason there will not be a DSWPS December meeting. I hope you can squeeze in a little drawing/painting time in the slot you normally set aside for our meetings.

The November meeting was marvelously inspirational as we embraced creativity, talked about poetry, and made art. The January meeting will provide a chance to see each other’s work in the evening, via Zoom. Details can be found elsewhere in this newsletter. We hope the 7 – 9 pm meeting time will provide a chance for more of our members to attend despite potentially inclement weather!
